Studio Lighting the Nude
A workshop presented by Studio LeRoi and Bill Earle

A journey into world of studio lighting and fine art figure photography.

Working with an outstanding figure model, Beth MG (https://www.bethmg.com/figure), a small gathering of eight photographers will explore a variety of lighting sets and the merits of each. Over the course of 6 hours, Bill will demonstrate lighting techniques in conjunction with finished images and each photographer will have opportunities to work with these sets as well as incorporate some of their own ideas. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet others, discuss the art of figure photography, and create some great images.

Details:

-Model will pose for 2 hours (10:00a.m.-noon)

-Styles: Fashion/Implied/Nude

-You’ll have an opportunity to work with the model 1:1 to bring your creative vision to life.

-We encourage you to bring some props to help unlock your creativity. Some suggestions of what to bring to get your creativity flowing:

1. Oldest piece of clothing (that you love)
2. Set of clothes (all black or all white or bright colors)
3. One plant (either a pot or plant from your home, a flower, a bouquet of flowers, a branch, a root, dried flowers, etc.)
4. Two of your most colorful items
5. A collection of “things” (bag of leaves, pieces of a broken bowl, stamps, collected rocks, marbles, etc.)
6. Your most everyday item that you use everyday that is truly a treasure to you
7. Think texture!

We ask that anything you bring for the model to wear please be clean.
